Our vision is to share eternal hope, provide hope, and inspire hope.

Our executive leadership team, Board of Directors and the Foundation’s Board of Trustees guide our organization to provide Christian care throughout our services and programs.

TLHA began with a gift from the mother of a Civil War veteran. Using his death benefit, Sophie Boessling began a home for widows and orphans.

The physical, intellectual, and emotional needs of seniors and those
with intellectual or developmental disabilities are very real—and they
must be addressed with the highest level of care. But care that ignites
hope in someone’s life goes even deeper. It touches the soul.

We offer that care at our residential communities in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

“Many come to us and receive amenities that transcend programs and furnishings,” said Mark Hayes, President. “They build lasting Christian friendships and a deep connection with Christ at a pivotal time in life.”

Mission Statement

The mission of The Lutheran Home Association is to share Christ’s love as we serve the spiritual, physical, intellectual and emotional needs of people entrusted to our care and others whose lives we touch.

God has called every single one of us to be His hands and feet wherever He has us today, that is our mission at The Lutheran Home Association. One community at a time, one church at a time, one life at time… we are obediently seeking to love, care, and make His name known right where He has placed us.

Values

The care of the soul is the soul of care.  |  Respect  |  Resilience  |  Integrity
