Debra Rothe

Debra Rothe serves as Vice President of Mission Advancement, a role that integrates Marketing and Communication with Development. She joined TLHA in June 2013. Deb served as an elementary school teacher at various WELS schools for 11 years prior to being asked to begin a Mission Advancement program at Luther Preparatory School (LPS) in Watertown, WI. After six years at LPS, Deb served as Annual Fund Director and Database Manager for Bethesda Lutheran Communities, Watertown, WI.

Deb brings two unique certifications to her work in Mission Advancement. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and a Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA). Deb enjoys sharing the TLHLA story and providing opportunities for people to say "Thank You Jesus" with their financial blessings.

Jim Klein

James C. Klein, CFP®

Jim serves as our Director of Mission Advancement. He has nearly 25 years of experience in the field of financial and estate planning. In 1995, Jim graduated from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado, and in 1996, became a Certified Financial PlannerTM. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and its Northeast Wisconsin Chapter. He specializes in charitable estate planning. Using his expertise in charitable strategies, Jim helps families and individuals with financial and estate planning, including persons with special needs.

Rev. Curtiss Seefeldt

Rev. Curtiss Seefeldt

Pastor Seefeldt serves are our resource development counselor. He began serving the residents and tenants of The Lutheran Home Campus in River Falls, Wisconsin, in 2010. He came to The Lutheran Home Association in 2006. He has more than 30 years of pastoral experience, serving congregations in Kansas, South Dakota and Minnesota after receiving his Master of Divinity from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon. He has chaired the Dakota-Montana District Board for Parish Services, the Huron (South Dakota) Advocacy Program and Minnesota District Lutheran Institutional Ministries Association. He believes Christian ministry is about serving people and sharing the message of Jesus' love. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, working in his yard and garden, traveling with his wife and cheering for the Packers and Twins.
