Therapy services reopen within The Lutheran Home: Belle Plaine
With low COVID-19 county positivity rate and increased vaccinations, The Lutheran Home: Belle Plaine and Pro Rehab are welcoming back community members.
Interested individuals should contact their Doctor of Medicine (MD) for a therapy order. For guidance through the referral and scheduling process, individuals can contact Pro Rehab directly at 952-955-2242.
Pro Rehab offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech language pathology. Pro Rehab can provide support for postural restoration, orthopedic related back and neck pain, post-op orthopedic joint replacement and fracture care and more.
“Welcoming new and existing patients back to The Lutheran Home location is a step in the right direction,” said Jeff Dagen, President of Pro Rehab. “We have all felt the strain of the pandemic. Our next step will be to help those needing a rehabilitation experience. This necessary care will be provided in a timely manner and be available close to home.”
Therapy visits take place in a safe environment. On a limited outpatient basis, visits can be scheduled in a patients’ home. Personal protective equipment requirements will follow both Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) regulations.
“We are excited to once again provide this service to the Belle Plaine community,” explained Jacqueline Grimm, Regional Director of Senior Services for MN Care Communities. “We continually strive to be a part of the community and appreciate the opportunity to open our doors for community members to have a local place to heal.”
