Honoring our family and friends
“While I am in the world, I am the light of the world” (John 9:5).
Throughout the Bible, light is used to symbolize God, faith, and holiness. Christmas lights are used at Wellhaven as we decorate for the Christmas season.
Each year, we host our annual Tree of Love event, which includes lighting our outdoor trees.
With COVID restrictions in place, we hosted the event virtually again this year. The event provides the opportunity to remember tenants who have been called home to Heaven in the past year and honor our family and friends.
“We are grateful for all who contributed and
supported our community,” said Beth Ann. “The event kicked off the Christmas season for our tenants.”
The lights on our outdoor trees shine to remind us of the love we have for our family, friends, and our Lord.
While they stayed warm inside, our tenants gathered in the dining room to watch the live event and enjoy a sing-along, hot apple cider, and red velvet cheesecake.
The ornaments purchased through the fundraiser are displayed beautifully on our indoor Christmas tree, and proceeds from the event will enhance the lives of Wellhaven tenants directly. Share a gift with Wellhaven in honor or memory of a loved one. Donate online at tlha.org/donate
