Celebrating Love
Our tenants love to celebrate. For Valentine’s Day, Wellhaven tenants celebrated the day of love throughout the month.
The fun started with special cupcakes for dessert. Tenants participated in a “Cupid’s Arrow Shootout” game: While seated in a semi-circle, tenants tried their luck at using nerf guns to aim and hit Valentine’s-themed targets.
One afternoon, tenants played more love-themed games, and volunteers shared cards with our tenants. Throughout the month, tenants shared photos of their Valentines. We had a fun time guessing who was pictured in the older photos.
We celebrated Mardi Gras, the day before Ash Wednesday. During the party, tenants wore bead necklaces, enjoyed beverages, and ate delicious snacks
