A visit to the farm!
In August, Wellhaven tenants enjoyed our annual trip to Sweet Rock Junction. We are blessed that owner, Judith Hansen continues to invite our tenants to visit the farm. While visiting, tenants were seated in a beautiful garden setting while Judith shared about the farm and introduced the visitors to her horses.
“I am so grateful that we had a beautiful day at the farm,” explained Laura Swanson, Activities Coordinator at Wellhaven. “Individuals who share about their passions provide a great opportunity for our tenants to learn new things.”
Many tenants enjoyed petting the family dog. We are thankful to be joined by Lori of Lori Minor Photography. She snapped beautiful photos of Wellhaven tenants on the farm.
Not all tenants enjoy leaving our care community, so Wellhaven continues to host many events and activities onsite. To provide a similar experience as the farm visit, we welcomed Darla Ramberg and her miniature horse Bugle.
Gathered outside, our tenants were able to pet Bugle and have him try on a Green Bay Packers hat. Go PACK!
