“Watch me do the Hokey Pokey!” Hope resident Bruce exclaimed during the recent annual fall dance at Hope Residence. During the dance, a local DJ played tunes as residents and team members danced and sang along.

“I was happy to see how many residents were dancing; everyone was nodding their heads and waving their hands,” said Annalee Koonst, Evening Program Lead.

Residents were able to suggest the songs that were played throughout the evening.

Hope residents had several positive things to say.004-1.jpg

  • “I love to shake it!  Look how I move!” –Steve
  • “I love dancing to this song! I really like Shania Twain” –Shelly
  • “Come on everyone!  Get up and dance!  Swing with me!” –Joyce

The fall dance provided a fun, and a little sweaty, night for everyone.
