St. Michael’s celebrates National Assisted Living Center Week
In honor of National Assisted Living Center Week, St. Michael’s Assisted Living hosted a weeklong celebration that included dress up days and special meals.
The schedule, for Sept. 10-15, was as follows:
Sunday: National Grandparents Day. Fried chicken dinner with cake for dessert.
Monday: Pajama Day, with a Bloedow’s donut snack.
Tuesday: Spaghetti and bingo.
Wednesday: Hats and sports dress up day! Living Stones performance and root beer floats snack. Thursday: Omelet breakfast.
Friday: “Name that Tune” program led by Rita, Alma Public Library.
The new addition to this year’s celebration included the meal and cake in honor of National Grandparents Day!
