Mariann Wiebusch, Administrator of The Lutheran Home: Belle Plaine, to Receive the ACHCA Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award
BELLE PLAINE, MINN., February 2014 –The Lutheran Home: Belle Plaine announces their administrator is to receive the American College of Healthcare Administrators (ACHCA) Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award at a ceremony this April in Las Vegas.
The Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award was established in 2008 to recognize skilled nursing facilities for achieving excellence beyond the Center for Medicare and Medicaid’s 5-star rating program. Each year the criteria is reviewed and updated to ensure top performing facilities are recognized and ensures the award continues to raise the bar for organizational performance. For 2013, the ACHCA identified facility leaders through MDS quality measures and survey data.
“Mariann is an exceptionally gifted administrator and visionary leader,” said Michael Klatt, The Lutheran Home Association’s president and chief executive officer. “This recognition shows her commitment to The Lutheran Home staff, residents, family members and care givers.”
When notified she was one of the sixteen Minnesota award recipients, Mariann humbly replied, “The award belongs to the wonderful staff members who deliver a high quality and high touch experience every day to the residents we proudly serve and the corporate staff members who support us in so many important ways.”
