Decorating for Christmas
While decorating one of the Christmas trees at St. Michael’s, a resident began sharing stories of Christmas traditions. Nancy shared a story about how her parents wouldn’t put up or decorate the family Christmas tree until after the children had gone to bed on Christmas Eve. On Christmas morning, the beautifully decorated tree with presents below would be a surprise.
“I love being able to learn stories like this from our residents. It’s a treat to be able to spend time with them during the holiday season,” explained Tiffany.
