Wellhaven tenants resume School Volunteer Project
School has started once again, which means the School Volunteer Project is back in action at Wellhaven Senior Living.
A group of Wellhaven tenants are ready to cut, count and collect Box Tops, Milk Moola and Family Fresh receipts. Wellhaven tenants have been involved with this project for several years now. Since the group began, they have worked with sticky Campbell soup labels and milk caps in a variety of brands. Since then, many of those programs have been cancelled.
The School Volunteer Project involves Rocky Branch and Westside Elementary Schools as well as Our House and Wellhaven Senior Living.
During the 2016-17 school years, Rocky Branch earned $1584.10 with Box Tops and $238.30 from Kwik Trip’s Milk Moola. With the closing of Campbell’s Labels for Learning, the school cashed in and received $400 of Visa gift cards. The school used the funds for the Parent Teacher Organization and playground equipment including footballs, basketballs and playground balls.
Westside earned $951 from Box Tops and $157 from Kwik Trip’s Milk Moola. Between the two schools, Our House and Wellhaven gathered enough Family Fresh receipts during the 2016-17 school years to earn $1000. These programs support a great cause and Wellhaven tenants glad to help.
To contribute, drop off any Box Tops, Milk Moola or Family Fresh receipts to Wellhaven Senior Living.
