Why Lent?
“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith.” (Hebrews 12:2)
“Why?” unveiled
“Whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.” (2 Corinthians 3:16)
Love who?
“Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.” (Luke 6:27b)
Whom do you trust?
“Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD.” (Jeremiah 17:7a)
Jesus calls you to go fishing
“From now on you will fish for people.” (Luke 5:10b)
It’s all about grace!
“So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.” (Romans 11:5)
Understand what your most important job is!
