Living in hope.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he gave us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, into an inheritance that is undying, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you. (1 Peter 1:3,4)
What is your hope if you died today? Your body would be buried or cremated.
There is hope for you and all believers in Christ.
I can’t wait until the resurrection of my body and soul. It will be so awesome that human words are not able to describe it.
For the believers right now we live in hope, a living hope. The reason we can have this kind of hope is that the tomb of Jesus somewhere in Jerusalem is empty. His body is not there, he rose from the dead just like he said he would.

He did everything necessary so we could also rise from the dead, live with him with a glorified body and soul in heaven after the resurrection.
Don’t let the worries, cares, troubles, and sins of this life on earth take away that hope. Satan does not want you to have this hope of being in heaven after your resurrection.
Your life here on this earth is not heaven. You are living in hope right now. However, it is a sure and living hope that is yours through faith in Jesus our Savior.
Jesus has told you, just like he told Martha after her brother died and was buried. “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me will live, even if he dies. And whoever lives and believes in me will never perish.” Jesus asks her and he asks us, “Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26.)
May our answer always be, “Yes, Lord, I believe. You are my resurrection and the life.”
Prayer: My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. I dare to make no other claim, but to wholly lean on Jesus’ name. On Christ, the solid rock, I stand. All the other ground is sinking sand. Amen.
