Marketing January 13, 2020

Belle Plaine, MN (January 13, 2020) – Kingsway Retirement Living, a ministry of The Lutheran Home Association (TLHA), named Joel Ulland the Housing Manager. Kingsway offers independent living, assisted living and memory care and has been the choice for those wanting to stay active and independent without sacrificing luxury, style or comfort. By providing a full continuum of care for every stage of the aging process, Kingsway enables its residents to remain independent, active and fully supported.

Ulland is bringing with him a rich work history. Most recently, Joel has served as the Residence Director at Elder Homestead (Volunteers of America), a nonprofit assisted living facility with memory care, located in Minnetonka. In the past, he has served in such roles as Nursing Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Director of Human Resources, Director of Marketing, Admissions, Consumer Relations; Education Trainer and Clinic Business Manager. He also served as a Housing Manager for nearly 10 years at Woodbury Estates, a facility within a senior living campus offering assisted living and memory care.

“Joel’s extensive experience will complement our current team in place,” said Jacqueline Grimm, Regional Director of Senior Services for Minnesota Care Communities. “His variety of past roles in care communities is a benefit to us.”

Joel’s educational background includes a practical nursing degree from Austin Riverland Technical College in Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University in Edina.

“I’m excited to join the team and to meet residents at Kingsway,” said Joel. “The organization is well known in the sector, and I look forward to extending our brand and services to continue to provide quality care.”
