The Antioch Foundation and The Lutheran Home Association Partner with Four WELS Christian Organizations for a New Leadership Event
BELLE PLAINE, MINN., July 29, 2014 – The Antioch Foundation, a charitable organization that supports the areas of faith, education, medicine and humanitarian need, partners together with Grace in Action, Kingdom Workers, The Lutheran Home Association, Time of Grace and Truth in Love Ministry to host a Christian Leadership Experience in January 2015. This leadership event will focus on organizational leadership, global health ministry and mission volunteerism for young professionals, health workers, missionaries, congregation presidents and leaders and those interested in Christian leadership.
“We understand the value of bringing Christians together to share, learn and network from others in the field who have successfully grown and impacted others” said Dan Kunz, Executive Director and Trustee with The Antioch Foundation. “Now more than ever, we need to work together to preserve our beliefs and our ministries’ vital roles.”
The 2015 Christian Leadership Experience will be held January 9-11, 2015 at Chaparral Suites in Scottsdale Arizona. The purpose of the event is to assist congregations, organizations and leaders to understand and manage leadership; explore emerging issues in global health missions; and share methods, results and inspire volunteerism. Attendees will have tangible, real-world leadership tools to implement in their local congregations and communities.
“This event will educate, share and inspire the men and women in congregations with ministry, mission outreach and leadership through this one-of-a-kind experience,” said Michael Klatt, Chief Executive Office and President of The Lutheran Home Association. “We are excited about supporting this event, which reflects our mutual commitment to developing individuals in our ministries and congregations.”
