TLHA hosts annual “Stepping Forward for Dementia” Walk

The Lutheran Home Belle Plaine Campus is hosting a walk to raise awareness about Dementia and those it effects on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Participants will walk in memory or honor of a loved one with memory loss. All proceeds will support memory care funding on the TLHA campus.

WHAT: “Stepping Forward for Dementia” Walk.  The event will feature a short opening ceremony, a 5,000 step [2-mile] walk and post-walk activities.

REGISTRATION: Pre-register online at tlha.org/walk. Registration cost includes a t-shirt, pinwheel, and swag bag. Onsite registration is available the day of the event.

WHEN: Saturday, August 7, 2021

WHERE: The walk starts and ends at Hope Residence (611 West Main Street).
