Lori, working to keep everyone happy
Lori Glenna will be celebrating her 25th anniversary with The Lutheran Home Association in December. Currently, Lori is a Certified Nursing Assistant, but mostly handles passing medications in her position at Wellhaven Senior Living.

Each morning at work, which begins at 7 a.m., Lori begins by passing medications, that need to be taken before breakfast, to tenants. Next, she helps to serve breakfast to tenants while continuing to pass the morning medications. Following meal cleanup, she will complete smaller tasks, such as helping a tenant with eye drops or applying lotion. Next is lunch, which she helps to serve between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Afterwards, she will work on some charting and do whatever else is needed.
“You just stay busy all morning,” Lori said, “The time goes by really fast.”
Years of experience have allowed Lori to be able to perfect her schedule to make sure all tenants receive what they need.
“It’s important to make sure that all your tenants get their medications on time and that they get everything that they wanted,” she explained, “I work to keep everybody happy and make sure everybody is taken care of.”
Thank you, Lori for your faithful service and passion for our ministry! We are blessed to have you as a part of our team.
