Meet the Germansons, new Wellhaven tenants
While looking for a senior housing community, Laurie and Mel Germanson were searching for a new home where they could keep their independence.
“We wanted an apartment, more like a home, not just a room,” explained Laurie.
The couple recently moved into one of our spacious two-bedroom apartments at Wellhaven. The larger apartment allows for enough space for both individuals to have their areas within the apartment. Their family helped the couple move in and set up the new space.
“The apartment is set up so nicely,” said Mel.
They like how spacious and open the layout is in the apartment. After viewing multiple senior communities, the couple realized they liked Wellhaven the most.
“Everyone our age goes to Wellhaven. The people are so nice here,” said Laurie.
The couple is looking forward to making new friends, while reacquainting with people they have known in the past. They began by meeting their new neighbors and the Wellhaven team, including Pastor Kenley Mann. They are looking forward to participating in activities. Mel started attending the recent veterans’ luncheon where he was familiar with most of the individuals attending.
