Welcome Betty, new Wellhaven tenant
Wellhaven recently welcomed home a new tenant, Betty Swenson! She moved into during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season in late December. Betty fits right into the Wellhaven family. Betty loves to read, and enjoys working on word puzzles, playing games such as Euchre, Farkle and Dominoes.
Before she married her husband Eugene, Betty was city girl working at Fort Snelling. Together, the couple moved to the family farm near River Falls. Eugene worked on the farm while Betty managed the house. Together, they had five children: Debbie, Donald, Carol, Eric and Julie.
Betty is an avid traveler and has traveled to Alaska, Norway, Egypt, Russia, Greece, the Caribbean, Mexico, Amsterdam, areas of Scandinavia and Germany. She is an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Music Madams. Betty is a long-time member of Rush River Lutheran Church. She participates in the church choir and several committees within the church.
