You helped Dania take a bold step in her faith!
God continues to transform the hearts of people no matter what is going on in the world. Dania is a perfect example of that truth. After completing nearly four years of classes as a Jesus Cares Ministries (JCM) participant,
she had planned to be confirmed in her Christian faith in May. Unfortunately, safety regulations related to the pandemic forced her to reschedule.
However, as safety measures have begun to ease, she was recently able to be confirmed with her class at her home church of St. Philip’s Lutheran in Milwaukee, Wisconsin!
It takes a lot of hard work for anyone to be confirmed, both for the individual as well as their teachers. Dania began her instruction with long-time volunteer Mary Braun, who is now resting with her Savior. She concluded her studies with help from Sharyn Buelow, JCM program leader at Abiding Word Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.
“She was excited. She had worked a long time to be confirmed and was disappointed when it didn’t happen in May,” explained Sharyn. “For me, I was just proud. I’m very proud of her accomplishments.”
