Helping within the community
Wellhaven tenants enjoy opportunities to help the River Falls community. In the past, tenants have participated in the Box Tops, Milk Moola and Family Fresh programs to support local schools and filled Samaritan’s Purse boxes at Christmas time.
This month Wellhaventenants will assist with preparing for the upcoming annual River Falls Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival. Wellhaven tenants, Lions Club member and volunteers work together to fill hundreds of Easter eggs with candy and little prizes.
“We fill the eggs with anything from candy to erasers to bouncy balls. Pretty much anything you can fit into an Easter egg,” said Laura Swanson, Activities Coordinator at Wellhaven.
The Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 24, 2018 at River Falls High School.
