Meet the Team: Don’t forget to smile!

TLHA December 27, 2017

According to Diane Elliott, the most important thing to bring to work each day is something that is pretty hard to forget, a smile.

“It’s great to know I’m helping people on a daily basis and doing it with a good attitude. It makes the tenants day better because I’m smiling and that makes them smile,” Diane explained.

Diane is a Certified Nursing Assistance at Wellhaven Senior Living. She begins each work day by helping tenants wake up, get dressed and enjoy breakfast.

“For me, the most enjoyable part is to be upbeat and happy when I go into a tenant’s room in the morning. To see the tenant’s smile lets me know that the person is happy waking up to see me,” she said.

Her responsibilities include providing basic care to tenants, as well as assisting them in daily activities that they might have trouble with on their own.

“Diane is a very dedicated employee at Wellhaven. She is dependable, thorough, conscientious, and always goes above and beyond to do anything for the tenants. She is very friendly with our tenants and families,” said Beth Ann Schultz, Wellhaven Manager.

Thank you, Diane for your faithful service and passion for our ministry! We are blessed to have you as a part of our team.
