Hope Residence Names Bobbi Dziuk as Therapeutic Recreation Director

Belle Plaine, MN (April 20, 2022) – Hope Residence, a ministry of The Lutheran Home Association (TLHA), has named Bobbi Dziuk as Therapeutic Recreation Director. Hope Residence provides an extensive array of services to support and enhance the lives of residents dealing with disabilities such as Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, ataxia, and epilepsy.
As Therapeutic Recreation Director, Dziuk will manage the in-house activities for residents and focus on such community programs as Magnified Abilities, Special Olympics, Riders with Disabilities and more.
Dziuk is bringing with her a rich work history, including her experience in the activities department at the Minnesota Masonic Home, where she oversaw the memory care department. She also worked as a paraprofessional in the Shakopee public school system.
“With her activities experience and working with individuals with special needs, Bobbi will be an excellent addition to our activities team,” said Megan Lambrecht, Director of Disability at Hope. “She is bringing a fresh perspective and new creativity to the activities. It has been a joy to see the residents engage with her.”
Dziuk is looking forward to continuing to offer residents a variety of activities within Hope and the local community.
“I am excited to be part of the team,” said Dziuk. “I hope to continue to build relationships with our residents and fellow team members.”
