Hope Residence nominates two for statewide ARRM award

Marketing February 13, 2017

Hope Residence is proud to nominate direct support professionals Tanyell Pautsch and Becca Lambrecht for the ARRM Cares Award, which allows member organizations in Minnesota a way to recognize direct support professionals (DSPs) who demonstrate a commitment to quality services.

Tanyell.jpgTanyell began working as a DSP at Hope Residence when she was a teenager and never left, even while studying for her degree in corrections, even after getting engaged and moving more than an hour away from work. She has provided 15 years of outstanding performance and dedication to Hope residents she cares for. Tanyell is a leader in our unit. Her style of leadership isn’t the bold, boisterous type; she leads by example. She is quiet, easy-going and hard-working, and it rubs off on her peers. Whenever Tanyell is working, things run smoothly. She is extremely thorough in her work, reliable and dependable. Tanyell has very high standards and a strong work ethic that make her an invaluable part of our team and sets an example for all staff.  Most importantly, Tanyell takes care of the residents just as she would her own family because that is what the residents have become to her — family!

Becca.jpgFor the past two years, Becca has touched the hearts and lives of the clients lucky enough to be in her care.  Becca is outstanding in every way. Everybody loves her — coworkers, residents and residents’ families. She has an infectious laugh and bubbly personality. She lights up the unit when she walks into work and always has a positive attitude. Becca makes life fun for the residents she cares for and her coworkers. She is especially good at helping others’ dreams come true. One of those dreams was an education for June, who is 70 years old and has a mental disability. Becca, who studies social studies education at St. Cloud University, offered to be June’s personal tutor so June could finally finish her high school education. There are so many other stories about how Becca has embodied the principles of compassionate care, they wouldn’t all fit in one nomination.

All 2017 award nominees will be recognized at the ARRM Annual Conference during the awards ceremony on June 8 in Prior Lake.
