Christina yoga-799353-editedHope resident Christina has enjoyed participating in yoga for years. Prior to moving to Hope, she was practicing yoga stretches regularly. Through the Magnifying Abilities program, she was able to pick up her hobby again.
“Yoga allows me to be stronger. It’s good for my health, it motivates others to try yoga,” said Christina.

Residents are given the opportunity to ride a horse or simply pet and observe the horse. The group also went on a horse drawn wagon ride provided by the Le Sueur County Sherriff’s Posse.
“This trip is something residents look forward to every year. I am really glad we have the opportunity to be part of it,” explained Deb Wirt, Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator at Hope. “It’s wonderful for our residents to be able to interact with the horses on a level that is comfortable for them.”
